Landscaping, Pavers & Irrigation in Sandestin, FL
We serve homes in and around Sandestin, on both sides of the resort — the Gulf-front lots with full salt exposure, and the bayside properties looking out over Choctawhatchee Bay where conditions are milder and moisture is higher.
Working here means working to a standard. Plans get reviewed, contractor access is controlled, work hours are set, and the finish has to hold up next to everything around it.

What's different about working near Sandestin
Two microclimates on one property line
Gulf-front and bayside lots a few hundred yards apart behave nothing alike. Salt exposure, wind and moisture retention all differ enough that the plant palette and irrigation zoning have to be set per lot rather than per neighbourhood.
Design review as standard
Hardscape, planting and lighting plans are reviewed before work begins. We prepare submittal-ready drawings and coordinate access and work-hour rules, which is a normal part of the job here rather than an obstacle.
Fixture finishes matter more
On the Gulf side, painted aluminium lighting corrodes at the seams within a few seasons. We spec brass and copper within reach of salt spray, which costs more up front and far less over ten years.
Peak-season scheduling
The months when the resort is busiest are exactly when a work zone is least welcome. Where scope allows we build in shoulder season and phase anything that cannot wait.

Pergola & paver seating area
Challenge: A rental backyard that went dark and unused at sunset, with a six-day window between bookings.
Solution: Pergola-covered paver seating area with a stone-wrapped bar, seat-wall fire pit, and low-voltage lighting placed at night — finished before the next check-in.

Our shop and nursery are on Highway 331 in Freeport, about thirty minutes from Sandestin. Crews work this stretch of coast most working days.
Growing our own palms and trees means a tagged specimen goes in the ground the same day it is dug, which matters for large material going into a controlled, closely-inspected setting.

Working with us near Sandestin
Do you work inside the resort?
We serve homes in and around Sandestin. Access, contractor registration and work-hour rules are handled as part of scheduling — tell us the property and we will confirm what applies before we mobilise.
Will you prepare drawings for design review?
Yes. Submittal-ready hardscape, planting and lighting drawings are part of our design work, prepared to the standard the review boards expect rather than sketched afterwards.
My property is on the bay side. Does that change the planting?
Considerably. Bayside lots hold more moisture, get far less salt spray, and often have more shade. The palette opens up quite a bit compared with a Gulf-front lot.
How long do lighting fixtures last here?
Brass and copper give a decade or more and develop patina. Painted aluminium near the Gulf often fails within three to five years, so we do not install it in those positions.
Can you work around our rental or usage calendar?
Yes. Give us the windows and we will tell you honestly what fits. Lighting and planting are flexible; a pool deck rebuild is not.
