About Allgood
A family design-build company, rooted in Freeport since 2005
Allgood Outdoor Services is a family-run landscape and hardscape contractor on Highway 331 in Freeport, Florida. We design, build, and plant outdoor spaces across the Emerald Coast — with one team from the first sketch to the final palm.
21 years in, we still answer our own phone.

Our story
A builder who came south and saw a gap
Duncan spent years as a building contractor before the family moved to Florida in 2005. What he found here was a shortage of landscape and hardscape contractors you could actually depend on — people who knew the ground, turned up when they said they would, and built something that lasted past the first storm season.
So he started doing it properly, and brought a builder’s standards to it: real footings, real drainage, real compaction under everything we lay. That is still the difference between our work and a crew that finishes faster.
The nursery came out of the same instinct. We grow and hold our own palms and trees on Highway 331, so clients can walk the rows and tag the exact plants going into their project instead of taking a size on an invoice.
Around it we built the rest — brick paver crews, outdoor living spaces and fire pits, low-voltage lighting, irrigation, and an in-house design practice that carries every plan straight through construction.
How we work
What hasn’t changed in 21 years
One team, start to finish
The people who draw your plan are the people who build it. No handoffs to a subcontractor who never saw the design conversation.
We grow what we plant
Our nursery on Highway 331 holds the palms and trees we install, so you can walk the rows and tag the exact stock going into your project.
Straight answers on scope
If a repair will do, we'll say so rather than quoting a rebuild. If what you want won't survive here, we'll say that too.
We answer our own phone
No call centre, no ticket number. The same number reaches the same people who came out to your site.
The crew
The people who show up
DuncanOwner · design & buildOur crews are our own — no rotating subs. The faces at your first site walk are the faces on build day, and the person who quotes your job is the person who runs it.
That person is usually Duncan. He walks the property with you, lays the design out on the ground where you can see it, and prices the job himself — which is why the number you get back holds, and why there is nobody to hide behind if it doesn’t.
It also means the answers you get are direct. If a repair will do, he won’t quote you a rebuild. If what you want won’t survive a summer on this coast, he’ll tell you before you pay for it.
