Landscaping, Pavers & Irrigation in Miramar Beach, FL
Miramar Beach runs along Scenic Gulf Drive between Destin and Sandestin, and the difference between a lot south of the drive and one north of US 98 is stark. Beachside, salt spray reaches everything. Inland, the lots sit slightly higher and hold water longer.
Most of what we build here is outdoor living — pool decks, patios and lighting for houses that are used hardest in the evenings, whether by owners or by guests.

What's different about working in Miramar Beach
Scenic Gulf Drive exposure
South of the drive, salt reaches every surface. We spec brass and copper lighting rather than painted aluminium, stainless fixings on anything structural, and a tighter plant palette. North of US 98 those constraints relax considerably.
Rental-heavy streets
Frangista Beach and Seascape carry a lot of short-term rental traffic. Lawns take more foot traffic than a family home does, lighting has to be on a timer that guests cannot break, and work has to fit between bookings.
Pool decks over backfilled ground
Pool surrounds sit on the least stable ground on any property — the spoil backfilled after the shell went in. Base depth and lift compaction matter more here than anywhere else, and skipping them produces the low spots that puddle after every storm.
Salt in the root zone
After heavy spray or surge, beachside lawns need deep watering to flush salt down out of the root zone. Fertilising a salt-stressed lawn instead is the standard mistake and it makes things worse.

Our shop and nursery sit on Highway 331 in Freeport, about thirty minutes from Miramar Beach. Crews are along this stretch of coast most working days.
Because we grow our own stock, palms and trees are dug the morning they are planted rather than spending a day in transit — which matters a great deal for something going into a salt-exposed beachside lot.

Working with us in Miramar Beach
Will a paver pool deck be too hot for bare feet?
Not in a pale, textured pool-rated line. Colour drives surface temperature far more than material does, so we steer clients away from dark pavers anywhere feet land barefoot.
Do landscape lights last near the beach?
Brass and copper fixtures do — a decade or more, developing patina rather than corroding. Painted aluminium in the same position often fails within a few seasons, so we do not install it this close to the Gulf.
Can you work between rental bookings?
Yes. Tell us the turnover window. Lighting, planting and small paver repairs usually fit inside a week; a full pool deck rebuild needs longer and gets phased.
My lawn browns off every summer despite watering. Why?
Often salt in the root zone rather than lack of water, especially on lots south of Scenic Gulf Drive. The fix is deep flushing irrigation and sometimes a more salt-tolerant variety, not more fertiliser.
Do you handle HOA approvals here?
Yes, where the neighbourhood requires them. Several Miramar Beach communities review hardscape and lighting plans, and we prepare the submittals as part of design.
