What's different about working in Panama City Beach
Front Beach vs. north of Back Beach
The beach strip takes constant salt and has almost no setback to work with. Inland at Wild Heron, Breakfast Point and Carillon Beach the lots are larger, better drained and support a much wider plant palette.
A different county
Panama City Beach is Bay County, not Walton. Permitting thresholds and right-of-way rules differ from what applies twenty miles west, and we check the local requirement rather than assuming Walton's applies.
Storm exposure
This stretch has taken direct hits. Everything we build gets anchored to footings, planting is braced through establishment, and we will talk through what comes down and what gets strapped when a storm is named.
Peak-season disruption
Summer here is relentless, and for rental and commercial properties it is the worst possible time to have a work zone. We plan Bay County work into shoulder seasons wherever the scope allows.

Our shop and nursery are on Highway 331 in Freeport, about fifty-five minutes from Panama City Beach. We cover the Front Beach corridor, the Back Beach communities, Carillon Beach and the Lake Powell edge of the county.
Growing our own stock means a large planting order does not wait on a distant grower, and trees are dug the morning they go in the ground.

Do you come out to Bay County?
Yes — Panama City Beach and Panama City are regular service areas for us, along with Carillon Beach and the Lake Powell communities on the Walton line.
How do pavers handle beachfront salt here?
Well. Concrete pavers cure denser than poured slabs and shrug off salt that spalls a slab, which is why they dominate along this coast. The base beneath them is what needs the care.
Which palms are safe this far north?
Sabal palmetto, windmill, needle and pindo all come through Panhandle freezes. Queen and coconut palms are marginal here and should be treated as accent planting you may lose in a bad winter.
Are the permitting rules the same as Walton County?
No, and Bay County is the more straightforward of the two. In our experience driveway, paver and wall work here has not needed a county permit — that changes when something permanent is being built, such as a structure, a garage or a house. We check the current requirement for your address rather than assuming.
Can you do post-storm repair work?
Yes — debris clearance, hardscape repair and replanting. Being based in Freeport means we are not queued behind a four-hour drive when a season turns bad.
