What's different about building on 30A
Gulf side vs. bay side
South of 30A, salt spray dictates the plant palette and fixture finishes. North toward the bay and the dune lakes, shade, moisture, and native scrub change the design entirely. We plan for which side of the road you're on.
Design review & HOAs
Most 30A communities review hardscape, planting, and lighting plans before work starts. We prepare submittal-ready drawings and have been through the process with boards across South Walton.
Vacation-rental calendars
Rental homes need work scheduled between bookings and finished on time. We sequence jobs to guest turnover, and send photo updates so out-of-state owners never wonder where things stand.
Sugar sand & storm rain
30A's pure-sand lots drain instantly but hold nothing. Bases get geotextile and lift-compaction; irrigation runs shorter, more frequent cycles; and grading carries storm runoff away from the slab.

Our shop and nursery sit just north of the bay in Freeport — about 25 minutes from Grayton Beach and inside 35 minutes of every 30A community, Dune Allen to Inlet Beach. Crews are on 30A most working days.
That also means your plants don't ride four hours in a hot truck: palms and trees come straight from our nursery, dug the morning they're planted.

Do you work inside gated and design-reviewed communities?
Yes — serving homes in and around Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, WaterColor, WaterSound, and the other South Walton communities. We prepare the plan documents their review boards ask for and coordinate contractor access and work-hour rules.
I live out of state. How does a project work remotely?
Most of our 30A clients aren't local. Site visit and design review happen by video call, you approve materials from photos of physical samples, we send progress photos at each stage, and the final walkthrough happens on video before the balance is due.
Can you schedule work between rental bookings?
Yes. Tell us the turnover window and we'll tell you honestly what fits it. Lighting, planting, and most paver repairs fit inside a week; bigger builds get phased so the yard is guest-ready between stages.
What plants actually survive beachside on 30A?
Salt-tolerant palms, hollies, muhly grass, and coastal natives — the same stock we grow at our Freeport nursery. Gulf-side yards get a tighter palette than bay-side ones; we'll walk you through both, and you can tag your trees at the nursery first.
Do you serve the whole 30A corridor?
All of it — Dune Allen, Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton, WaterColor, Seaside area, Seagrove, WaterSound, Seacrest, Alys Beach area, Rosemary Beach, and Inlet Beach — plus Santa Rosa Beach and Point Washington north of the highway.
